Manay NHS culminates Nutrition Month

The Nutrition Month Celebration commenced on July 21, 2013. The celebration was successfully finished by the cooperation of everybody especially the T.L.E club officers with the T.L.E coordinator, Mrs. Lalaine V. Viernesto.
There were many activities held those days like the election of T.L.E club officers, deworming, demonstration feeding, poster making(traditional) contest, display of food and fish processing, plant propagation contest, classroom structuring contest and booth display contest.
On the first day of celebration, T.L.E club elected their officers, and the elected president was Ms. Gesselle Francisquete, a 3rd yr. student. On the next day was their oath taking. The following day was the deworming for the students by the school nurse Mrs. Renee Liza Pedroso R.N. And on the following days was the contest proper.
On July 26, 2013 in the afternoon, together with the Culminating Program of the nutrition month celebration was the Induction of the General P.T.A and H.R P.T.A. Manay National High School was very thankful when Hon. Jon Marco Dayanghirang, the Municipal Mayor together with Mr. Eugene “khen-khen” Balante, one of the municipal Councilors graced the event as the inducting officers of the General PTA and Homeroom PTA.
The most awaited part of the program was the awarding of certificates to the winners in the different contest. The program ended with heavy snacks of the parents, teachers, and students.
