1968

The opening year of San Ignacio Barangay High School. Mr.Ernesto Burgos was its lone teacher. The school was housed temporarily at San Ignacio Elementary School.


1973

Under the Municipal Resolution No. 105 s. 1973, the name was changed to San Ignacio Municipal High School. Later it was called Manay National High School.


1989

Sec. Lourdes R. Quisumbing by virtue of DECS Order No. 5, s. 1989 converted all local high schools into a national high school. Manay National High School was finally provided with its juridical personality. Its first school head was Mrs. Honorina M. Burgos.


The said school acquired a 2-hectare lot at Pinacpacan, San Ignacio where it is housed at present. As the population continues to grow, additional rooms were constructed, library, laboratory, ICT room, Home Economics, and Administration office is housed in the SEDP building. Evaristo Moralizon Vocational National High School was created as an annex school.

Today as it continues to respond to countryside educational development, two annexes were created under its wing: Macopa Barangay High School and Del Pilar Barangay High School. The School leadership under Mr. Gil T. Lasmarias is committed towards “ A Culture of Excellence” believing that a school must be a catalyst and laboratory of change, create its own destiny and be able to produce responsible citizen.
