Editorial: What Youth Needs

Tuesday, December 31, 2013

“Youth is the hope of our fatherland” as the famous line by our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal goes. This is undeniably true. After decades, the youth assumes the responsibilities that the adults have at present. Some of them will be the government leaders, others in the religious sectors, in private firms and corporations, and some would be in the farms to produce crops and vegetables for the food of the nation. In their hands the future of our country lies.

With this great role of the youth, they need careful attention. They should be nurtured well. The mature individuals of this time are the ones to help them develop their potentials to the fullest so that they will be able to face the challenges ahead of them. And one way of doing this is to give them all the opportunities to lead, manage and perform.

Still In love with My First Love

Sunday, December 15, 2013

She’s patient. She’s kind. She’s loving. She’s caring. Where is she? She is taken by God.

Wounds do heal when time passes by, it may leave a crack still it recovers up through time until it becomes whole again, but up to now I still reminisce and cry, and I can also say that up to now I am still in love with my first love. She is just what she is, she’s perfect as I define her, she’s beautiful, and she’s pure and true.

Friendship to Me

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

My friends are always there beside me to make me strong when the best things are going wrong. I love my friends half as I love my parents. My life may not be complete without them. Making friends is one of my hobbies, but I don’t really know what friendship means to me. Someone says, true friends will never be apart, maybe in distance, but not in our hearts. And yes! I agree.

Friendship knows no bound!

Wednesday, December 4, 2013

“Friendship without self interest is one of the rare and beautiful things of life.” (James Francis Byrnes). This is seen in the friendship of these creatures which are totally different from one another. They did not mind of what they are. They enjoy each other’s company playing whenever they are free. Though they came from a different herd, they don’t see each other as an enemy.

When we compare it to what is happening to most of the people in this world, it is very depressing. Humanity is in the state of war. Nation fights against nation, government officials quarrel, brothers, sisters parents and even husband and wife kill one another.

Letters to the Editor - The Movers 2013-2014

Wednesday, November 27, 2013

Dear Editor,

I am just wondering why all are in chaos cleaning the entire school campus whenever there are visitors coming. The teachers even use their fifteen-minute teaching time just to make the surroundings clean. Why are we like this? We scatter our wastes around and no one bothers to attend to it instead we continue throwing our trash anywhere. Can’t we clean on our own even without visitors so our classes will not be disturbed? Don’t we deserve to have a clean and healthy environment? It’s somewhat pity to all of us. We are very much hardheaded to learn the values taught us by our teachers.

Truly yours,
Concerned student
