Basa grasps ambassadress of goodwill title

Angle Claire Marie Basa, a fourth year student of Manay National High School, was proclaimed as the Ambassadress of Goodwill of Manay, Davao Oriental by Hon. Antero L. Dayanghirang Jr., Municipal Mayor of Manay, Davao Oriental.

The father of the town gave her such title because
 her performance was so impressive. She became the queen during the Search for Miss Holy Cross on October 15, 2009 in the celebration of Araw ng Holy Cross 2009.

Aside from that, she also received special awards on that beauty pageant such as Best in Talent, Best in Neo-ethnic Attire, Miss Perfect Skin, Miss Close-up Smile and Miss Photogenic.

Being the Ambassadress of Goodwill, she was given P10,000 budget for her projects for the youths in Manay. That amount will be deposited in Barangay Holy Cross and according to Mayor Dayanghirang, Miss Basa would just get the fund at Barangay Holy Cross upon the presentation and approval of her project proposal.

Miss Basa was very happy and excited to help her fellow youths in the municipality of Manay. She was also very thankful to Mrs. Fe J. Sallanon, the chair of the Basic Ecclesiast. Community in Holy Cross who became the instrument of her success on that very night.

She said that she would do her best so that she would be deserving of the title given to her and eventually become the inspiration of the young women of her generation.
