Movers' staff qualify in the RSPC

The editor, associate editor and the photojournalist of The Movers, the official publication of the Manay National High School had bring home the bacon in the Division Schools Press Conference on September 2-4, at Lupon Vocational High School.

The three scribers who qualified to complete in the RSSPC this coming November 19-21, 2009 at Calinan National High School, Calinan Davao City were, Nicy Villalobos, Jellene Kaye Cloma and Kurt Darren Viernesto. Villalobos got the 2nd place in Editorial Writing in English, Cloma won 1st place in Copy Reading and Headline Writing in English and Viernesto garnered 5th place in the field of Photojournalism in English.
Communication Arts in English had also taken place at Lupon Vocational High School the day before the DSPC, September 1, 2009.
The Manay National sent participants for the contest of that affair. Nicy Villalobos and Jelenne Kaye Cloma won as 2nd place in the English Grammar and Literary Quiz Beefor the Communication Arts.
The three writers are expected to undergo training with the other winners in the DSPC at Banaybanay National High School in preparation for the incoming RSSPC.
